What you get

The whole picture,
in your currency.

Three things Mozaic does for Canadian money, built for Canadian accounts, not adapted from a US app.

01

Know what you’re worth

Every account, asset, and liability, folded into one number, across CAD and USD.

One net worth · right FX
US brokerage$48,210 USD
Canadian accounts$61,380 CAD
Net worth$127,524 CAD

Any currency, one number

Foreign holdings fold into your CAD net worth at the daily exchange rate, not a stale monthly average, and never a guess.

02

Stay on top of your Canadian accounts

TFSA, RRSP, and FHSA as first-class account types, with estimated contribution room, the way the CRA counts it.

TFSA · Contribution room
$12,340 est. room left
Contributed $30,160Limit $42,500

Registered accounts, native

TFSA, RRSP, and FHSA are first-class account types with their own rules. Enter your CRA starting balance once, and Mozaic tracks your contributions, withdrawals, and estimated remaining room, and flags when you’re getting close to your limit. Canadian account types, modelled around Canadian rules.

03

Make better monthly decisions

Budgets, recurring bills, and goals, built from how you actually spend.

Budgets from real spending
Groceries$1,260 /mo
Restaurants$340 /mo
Clothing & shoes$270 /mo

Budgets built backwards

Start from how you actually spend. Mozaic groups your last months of transactions into suggested budgets. Edit the amounts, then go live.

Recurring · next 7 days
RentC$1,650 · in 3d
Hydro-QuébecC$140 · in 6d
SpotifyC$11 · in 7d

Recurring, before it hits

Mozaic spots your bills and subscriptions, shows what’s due this week, and flags the ones that quietly went up, so a renewal never catches you off guard.

Suggested for you

$525 /mo fits your headroom44 mo

Goals sized to your life

Mozaic reads your real headroom and proposes goals that actually fit: emergency fund, down payment, the next big trip.

For investors

Optional, for when you want to see how your portfolio is really doing.

How you stack up · rebased to 100
You +13.93% · S&P 500 +14.25% · Bonds +2.25%

Benchmarks on equal terms

Your portfolio against the S&P/TSX 60, S&P 500, and the indexes that matter: total return, dividends reinvested, rebased to 100. See whether you’re actually beating the market, not just going up.

Cash flow

See where every dollar goes.

Every paycheque and every purchase, folded into one flow: income in on the left, where it all landed on the right. No spreadsheet, no guesswork.

Which tracker fits you?

A personal-finance app that
speaks Canadian.

Monarch and Copilot are excellent, but they’re built around a US-first financial system. Mozaic brings the same budgeting to Canadian accounts, CAD and USD totals, and registered plans.

Security

Read-only by design.
Uneventful on purpose.

Read-only connections

Accounts link through trusted aggregators with read-only access. Mozaic can never move, hold, or touch your money.

Per-user encryption

Each user's data is encrypted at rest under its own key, held in Google Cloud KMS; TLS 1.3 in transit. Credentials go to your bank's aggregator. They never touch Mozaic's servers.

Data stays in Canada

Your financial account data is stored in Canadian data centres, under Canadian privacy law (PIPEDA, and Québec’s Law 25).

Never sold, ever

You are the customer, not the product. No ads, no data sales, no "anonymized insights" sold out the back door.

Laurent Risser, founder of Mozaic Finance

“Before I let anyone else use it, Mozaic ran on my own household’s accounts for over a year. Most early decisions were made by the person who would have to live with them.”

Questions

The short version.

Is my bank supported?
Mozaic connects to most major Canadian banks and brokerages through our aggregator, and we're adding more all the time. If yours isn't available yet, or a connection is temporarily down, you can track that account manually or import a CSV, and tell us so we prioritize it.
How does the currency conversion actually work?
USD-denominated assets are converted at the daily exchange rate, refreshed every business day. Your net worth is always stated in CAD, and you can flip any account to view its native currency.
How is contribution room estimated?
You set your starting room once, from your CRA My Account, and Mozaic estimates your remaining room from there, tracking every contribution and withdrawal, including FHSA carry-forward and TFSA re-contribution rules. It flags when recorded contributions approach your estimated room, and because it's an estimate, it's easy to reconcile against the CRA anytime.
Can I switch from Monarch or Copilot?
Switching from another app? You don't need to export anything first: Mozaic connects directly to your banks and brokerages and imports the transaction history each institution makes available. There's no one-click Monarch or Copilot import yet, so if you'd rather bring things over by hand, you can add accounts manually or import a CSV. You can connect your first institution in a few minutes, and your registered accounts will finally be labelled correctly.
What happens when the trial ends?
Nothing scary. We never asked for a card, so the account simply pauses. Subscribe when you're ready and everything is exactly where you left it.

See your money whole.

Create your account in under a minute, connect your first institution in a few more.
