What's free, and what do I pay for?
Everything except automatic bank connections and AI categorization is free: your full history, manual accounts and transactions, CSV import, category rules, budgets, goals, and net worth in every currency you hold. The subscription covers the two things that cost us money to run: connecting a bank or brokerage so your balances and transactions update themselves, and AI categorization for synced and imported transactions your bank and your rules leave uncategorized.
What happens when my 14-day trial ends?
If you stay on Premium, your card is charged for the plan you chose and your connections keep syncing. We email you three days before, with the date. If you cancel before the trial ends, you move to the free plan: nothing is charged and nothing is deleted. Your accounts, transactions and history stay where they are, and you can keep them current by hand. What stops is automatic syncing: your connected balances hold at their last update until you subscribe.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes, in one click. There are no contracts, no "are you sure?" mazes, and no retention dark patterns. If you cancel a monthly plan your connections keep syncing until the end of the billing period, and you keep the app either way. Annual plans are refundable pro-rata within the first 30 days.
Do you support business accounts?
Not at launch. Mozaic is built for personal net worth: checking, savings, credit cards, brokerage, 401(k), IRA, HSA, joint accounts, mortgages, and the rest of your household balance sheet. Sole-proprietor business banking can be added as a manual account, but accounting and incorporated-entity workflows aren't supported.
Am I billed in US dollars?
Yes. US plans are priced in US dollars, $9.99 a month or $72 a year, so a US card is charged in its own currency with no conversion at checkout. Mozaic is a Canadian company, and its Canadian plans are priced separately, in Canadian dollars.
Is my data safe?
Read-only account connections via 256-bit TLS and bank-grade OAuth (Plaid and SnapTrade). We never store your credentials. Your financial account data is stored in Canadian data centers. You can revoke any connection in one tap, and deleting your account wipes everything within 30 days, or immediately if you choose. Full details on the security page.
