Managing or cancelling your subscription
Change your plan or card, see your invoices, cancel, or fix a failed payment from the Subscription card in Settings.
Updated
You manage your subscription from Settings > Profile > Subscription. Billing runs through Stripe, and the Manage Subscription button opens Stripe's billing portal.
Read the Subscription card
The card shows a status badge: Trial, Active, Past Due or Expired. Under it, a line tells you what happens next, for example Billing starts with a date during the trial, Renews on with a date, or Cancels on with a date after you cancel. It also shows whether you're on the Annual plan or the Monthly plan.
Open the billing portal
- Go to Settings > Profile > Subscription.
- Select Manage Subscription.
- The Stripe billing portal opens.
In the portal you can:
- See your invoice history
- Update your payment method
- Edit your billing email, address and tax ID
- Switch between the monthly and yearly plan (the price is prorated)
- Cancel your subscription
The billing email in the portal is for billing only. It does not change the email you sign in with. To change that, contact support.
Cancel your subscription
- Open the billing portal as described above.
- Choose to cancel. Stripe asks a short question about why you're leaving.
- Back in Mozaic, the card shows Cancels on with the end date of your current billing period.
Your subscription stays active until that date, and your banks and brokerages keep syncing until then. After that, your account moves to the free plan: nothing you entered is deleted, your connections are disconnected and balances stop updating on their own. If you subscribe again later, reconnect your banks and brokerages.
If a payment fails
When a payment fails, the card shows Past Due and a banner appears: Your payment failed. You keep access to the app.
- Select Update Payment on the banner or on the Subscription card.
- Enter a new card or fix the current one.
The banner tells you how many days you have left to update your payment method before syncing and connecting accounts stop.
Subscribe again after it expires
When your subscription has expired, the card shows Subscribe. Select it to choose a plan and pay through Stripe's secure checkout. See the pricing page for current prices.
Refunds
Annual plans are refundable pro-rata within the first 30 days. To ask for a refund, email support@mozaicfinance.com from the address on your account.
