Your name, language, currency and theme

Change your name, the app's language, your display currency and light or dark mode from the Settings page.

Your personal settings live on the Settings page. It is split into four groups: Profile, Preferences, Security and Privacy & Data. This article covers the everyday ones.

Your name

  1. Go to Settings > Profile > Name.
  2. Under Your name, select Edit your name. If you haven't added one yet, it shows Not set.
  3. Fill in First name and Last name, then save.

Language

  1. Go to Settings > Preferences > Language.
  2. Choose English, Français, Español or 中文.

The emails we send you also follow this choice.

Display currency

  1. Go to Settings > Preferences > Currency.
  2. Pick the currency you want totals shown in.

The default is Canadian dollars (CAD). Your accounts keep their own currency: this setting decides which currency your totals, such as net worth, are shown in.

Light or dark mode

  1. Go to Settings > Preferences > Appearance.
  2. Choose Light, Dark or System.

System follows your device's setting, and it is the default. The choice is saved on this browser or device only, not on your account. If you sign in somewhere else, choose it again there.

Other preferences

The Preferences group also holds:

  • Auto-categorization: lets AI file new transactions for you. It is part of paid plans. On the free plan or during the trial, the toggle can't be switched on, and your category rules still apply.

Where to find the rest

  • Subscription: Settings > Profile > Subscription.
  • Two-Factor Authentication: Settings > Security.
  • Notifications, data export and account deletion: Settings > Privacy & Data.

Your sign-in email can't be changed in Settings. To change it, email support@mozaicfinance.com.
